Here at last!

For some time now we have been working on making our books more accessible to more people by making them available as low cost eBooks that can be purchased online. At the same time we wanted to ensure the highest quality for these books. At last we believe we have achieved these goals with five books that can be viewed on screen or printed out with high resolution. They are as good as or better than the print version, If quoting from them you will need to specify that the quote is from the eBook because the page numbering is different.

Living the Good Life in Today's World: Stuart Fowler

This book rises to the challenge of the Kenyan Professor B. Wanjala Kerre 18 years ago when he said:

"While Africa cannot isolate herself from the rest of modem civilizations, it is quite obvious that modem cultural values which have been borrowed from the West can no longer promise humanity a balanced and humane lifestyle"

Nothng much has changed since 1992 but we are re-issuing this book in the hope it will have some impact; perhaps together with the more recent and detailed "Living World Views".

Peace through Understanding: Jameson Kurasha, Ed,

This book is a set of essays written by US college students during a period exploring African culture in Southern Africa. Prof Kurasha, then with the Unversity of Zimbabwe, conducted a two week seminar during which students were challenged to critical examine their own culture in the light of the understanding to of African culture they had gained during their period in Africa. A constructively critical commentary on the essays by Stuart Fowler forms the concluding chapter.
